It's a long way to Hong Kong. Left my house on Monday at 6:00 am EDT. Got to my hotel room on Tuesday at 7:30 am EDT (7:30 pm local time). Had Chinese food for dinner.

London was very cool. I stayed in the "heart" of London on the Strand right above Charing Cross station. I won't bore you with all the shit I walked by - Trafalger Square and all - but I did manage to find two micro-caches in St. James park (if you don't know what I'm talking about go to www.geocaching.com). You know, not much exciting happened in Amsterdam. I was only there for two days and had to work quite a bit. I did get a chance to go to the Riiksmuseum which was very cool. It was under construction which turned out to be a real plus. Basically they put every great piece of art they have in a gymnasium -- I saw a few hundred years of great art in just over an hour. The trip has started pretty well.. no traffic to jfk and a quick trip through ticketing and boarding etc. I’m flying Iberia airlines which is based in spain. It seemed like at least half of the passengers were English-speaking: a mix of business travelers (upfront in business class with me) and a lot of tourist-types (backpacks on and sitting in back).
