You know, not much exciting happened in Amsterdam. I was only there for two days and had to work quite a bit. I did get a chance to go to the Riiksmuseum which was very cool. It was under construction which turned out to be a real plus. Basically they put every great piece of art they have in a gymnasium -- I saw a few hundred years of great art in just over an hour. After that I did have a chance to visit a coffeshop. I was in Amsterdam when I was in college and I really wanted to find the place I hung out in then. It's called Prix D'ami and I'll be damned if it ain't still there. One thing that struck me however was the strength of the pot now. When I was there before - 1983 - I remember smoking and smoking. Now just a couple hits and I was in good shape. Yes, I realize I am older, but man, they got some good shit. I found a site that had a picture...

I also went to a pretty decent restaurant in the red light district. It is facinating to see the women. Now this is holland mind you. Quick, what comes to mind when I say "Dutch Girls"? Yup, me too; tall, big breasted, blonde women. You'd never know you were in Holland based on what's hanging out in the windows of amsterdam. Big women, quite a few of them black or indian and when you get down to it, not at all attractive. It takes all kinds to make a world.
